Jacob Chammon
Executive Director
Jacob Chammon, born on December 16th, 1980 in Struer (Denmark), has been Executive Director of Deutsche Telekom Stiftung since August 1st, 2023.
As a qualified teacher of Danish, German as a foreign language, history and music, he worked at schools in Denmark from 2001 to 2011, most recently as head of department.
Jacob Chammon came to Berlin in 2011 and in 2012 took over the management of the then newly founded German-Scandinavian Community School. He succeeded in establishing the school in the Berlin school landscape and further developing conceptually.
In 2019, Chammon joined Forum Bildung Digitalisierung e.V., an organization initiated by Deutsche Telekom Stiftung, as a product and project manager. A year later, Chammon was appointed to the Forum's Executive Board, responsible for strategy and all program activities.
Jacob Chammon is an author of specialist literature and textbooks and was the publishing editor in charge of "PS Praktisk Sprog", a Danish magazine for foreign language didactics.
In addition to his activities in schools and foundations, Chammon worked as a self-employed coach from 2009 to 2020 and has led various training courses at schools and training centers in Denmark and Germany.
Jacob Chammon is member of the advisory boards of several educational institutions.
